Philippe Starck based the Masters Chair on the silhouettes of three well known designs: Arne Jacobsen’s “Serie 7”, Eero Saarinen’s “Tulip Armchair” and Charles Eames’ “Eiffel Chair”. The stool version is a lightweight with discrete armrest and footrest for comfort.
