1960s Mazzega Murano Glass Chandelier, Amber and Clear
An authentic Mazzega pendant from Murano, the house celebrated for its bold 1960s and 70s glass lighting. Four curved, leaf-like panels of heavy, textured clear glass fold around a polished chrome frame, each centred with a molten amber disc. The thick, frosted, ice-like surface scatters light and gives the piece a crystalline, almost geological quality.
Lit, the amber discs glow like small suns while the clear glass sparkles around them. Organic and space-age at once, with chrome arms and ball-bolt fixings adding to the atomic-age feel. A statement piece for a dining table, entry or stairwell.
Glass in perfect condition, with some age related wear to frame which doesn’t affect the overall look of the light.
